HELP NEEDED! handwritten text not working on note3

Hi there!

Having a problem with the handwritten text on the note 3
I have the handwritten box enabled and shown on the note3 screen, however when i write a word/letter, nothing happens in the input field.

Any suggestions?

Return the device and get new one? It might not recognize your writing, but should still show the line while you are writing.

the problem is that it works when i got it
but after changing some settings etc, it din work anymore

Even i am facing the same problem i bought my cell yesterday.. and from yesterday night my handwriting text is not working.....

I got the solution of our problem....
Change your phone date to 28 see and check weather it's working then change back up date to today's date....

if i change to an earlier date in Sep, its okay
but when i change back to the current date, is not working again.
really weird, any reason for such happening?

I got the solution of our problem....
Change your phone date to 28 see and check weather it's working then change back up date to today's date....

So to get the Note 3 to recognize handwriting you have to set an incorrect date? That's not very useful. Wonder how long it will take for a fix for this bug?

I'm having the same problem (With a spanish model)

It works fine when setting the date back a couple of days. But it doesn't if I put it back right.

Any ideas?

What was extra strange was that the other type of handwriting recognition works fine - hover over a text box and you will see a small pen symbol pop up, this brings up a different writing box and it still worked fine.

Changing the date seems to have fixed the problem with the keyboard though

I try to fix the problem by the following step:
- uncheck automatic date and time
- Set date back to 28 sep
- test handwriting to text , and it's work
- then set date back to current date (don't check Automatic date and time)
It's temporary solution.
:'( .....it can't fix the problem. That's still.

Now I have a state of the art phone that only works on yesterday's date!

doesn't work too... tried and worked when set to september and once back doesn't work..

It's true. The other one works fine. But it is not always available. I hope they'll fix it soon.

on the line with samsung technical helpdesk.. says they know of this problem.. hopefully resolving by end of the week with new updates....

Same issue i Norway. I contacted Samsung, they haven't heard of this yet.
Handwriting recognition was fine on my Note 3 until sunday 29th september.
What does the date has to do with this problem?
