Wow. That's amazing. Absolutely amazing. You sure it's a Note 5?

I was shocked at the results as well! I was willing to give it a shot after lollipop destroyed my m8 battery life. I'm glad that I did! I will definitely need to see how it changes during the work week before I make any final judgments, but so far so good.

I must be doing something wrong. I might be able to pull off 3 and half hours of screen on time. I don't get it. I have most everything disable. I have bluetooth on and I am mostly on wifi.

Disabled a ton of stuff (about 120 system apps and bloatware) using package disabler pro since we don't have root. Use adguard for ad blocking. On pace for 8.5 hour screen on time with 23 hours of up time and loss of 2-3% overnight.

Yes tell us. List all of them. I don't know how to root my phone and I really don't want to as I don't understand custom ROM's.

Research the app mentioned. The app tells you which ones are bloat. It's then up to you to decide if you want to disable them.
Everyone's phone will have different bloatware, depending on the carrier.

Thanks for listing what you use. I'm going to give both a shot.

Here is the list from the XML file exported. Things I disabled may not be important to me but they may be important to you so go through list carefully. I replaced some of the Samsung apps like the keyboard with Google apps from play store also.

Edit: oops looks like mods wont let me post whole thing. Guess I will try to get my posts up a little bit and post link to thread later.

I also am going to try this as well. I will let everyone know how it goes once I get a full charge on it. Do ads really suck down that much battery?

Yeah I might try. I've had the issue on 2 Note 4's both with many resets. I must have something synching.

Anyone heard of any issues having multiple Google accounts sync? I have my personal and google apps for business accounts syncing, maybe something is wrong with having 2 sync?

I have 4 Google accounts that sync on mine and also did on my Note 4 and S6E.

I have 3 Google accounts and have had them all running and syncing since the note 2 then on the note 3 then note 4 and now 5 with no issue. I would have to guess that syncing 3 accounts would drain more battery than one. How much more is the question.

On a side note how can i change how often they sync? I can't seem to figure it out.

2nd full charge, still at home. 2 Google accounts and 1 Exchange syncing. Auto brightness. Mixed time on WiFi and on LTE. Still seriously impressed with the phone so far!

Tomorrow will be it's first real test, at work with not-stellar signal.

That's not particularly good... what phone did you come from where this is impressive? The guy on here who got 11 hours in a 24 hour period is what I'd like to see on all our devices

Almost 18 hours with 11% left. 2 email accounts, about 1 hour streaming via LTE and Bluetooth to my car. Some texting and WhatsApp, Facebook, IG and connected all day to my android wear Smart watch. Pretty happy and way better than my edge and a lot smoother.

This is my first not ever and was never into the note line or phones this big but man, something about this phone...
