Verizon sim swapping Q..

I apologize if this has been asked prior, I searched and didn't come across anything.

My Note 5 is coming in the mail today from Swappa. I currently have a Moto X Pure Edition which has the same size sim as the N5. Can I simply swap the sim from my X to the N5 without having to get a new sim for the N5?

This same process worked just fine when I upgraded from my 2014 Moto X to the Pure Edition. Hoping it will be just as easy with the N5.

If not for some reason, I wanted to check before I went home after work. I would stop at Verizon and grab a new sim beforehand, if necessary.
