S10+ Wifi and Device Idling high battery drain

[Android Central Question]

I notice both of these are using up the most battery whenever I'm not using the phone. Why are they causing the most battery drain?

Device idle could be up because the tower signal is lower for some reason.

The only reason wifi would be higher than usual, assuming you always have it on, is that the wifi signal from the router is weak. (Or - and hope not - the wifi transceiver is bad.)
