just read it mate. a lot of people worry about RAM on android and theres no need. try a Quadrant test and youll find the phone performs BETTER with less free ram. if it gets dangerously low, android will close something.
dont be tempted to use a task killer. just relax and trust android ;)

I just read that whole long RAM piece. Fascinating. Really.

I wasn't using any sort of task killer. I've been around android for several years and i remember when you might have needed them as well as when the OS improved enough that you didn't need the task killers anymore.

What I WAS doing was uninstalling widgets, eliminating extra home screens, and reducing the number of installed apps from 185 to 91. But, thanks to you all, I'm about to reinstall some of the apps, starting with my weather widgets!
