My first phone was some random LG flip phone. Two years later I was using the LG enV 1. Two years after was LG enV Touch. Two years later (and my current phone) is Motorola Droid 3.
I have to say, this Droid 3 worked well for a couple months (other than a crappy camera and random restarts). But I got very apprehensive when Motorola/Verizon went back on their promise, and decided not to update past Gingerbread. Right now, this phone is riddled with problems and issues. Other than just being all around slow and unresponsive, there is an issue where I cannot enter text into a field using either the physical or virtual keyboard. Because of this, I cannot answer text messages most of the time. I have become extremely frustrated because of this. There was one instance where it was imperative to respond to a text, and I would not let me. So I tried to call the person, but there is another issue where calls take about 5 or 6 minutes to even get to the calling screen. I was so upset and angry I threw my phone across the room (I was very very very frustrated. Normally I am OCD about my devices. I never even use a case, and they are in perfect condition).
Long story short, I will never buy another Motorola phone. Two of my brothers had Droid X's, and they were just as bad. I would even be cautious to purchase the Motorola X when it is released.
I cannot wait for my Galaxy S4 on Thursday.
