Pocketcasts stops playing after exactly five minutes

Hello everyone, I recently switched to the GS4 on Verizon from the iPhone and had heard a lot of good about the pocketcasts app. However when I'm in my car listening over bluetooth audio, (which is where I always listen to podcasts) the app pauses play back exactly five minutes in. Then I press play and after another five minutes, pause again. I have used the play music app over my bluetooth audio recently and it worked fine.

Also while the podcast is playing I keep my screen off. It's there some sort of setting that is causing this to happen that I can't seem to find?
