I have a Galaxy S4 from India. I believe Samsung released a new firmware, MJ8 a couple of days ago.
Kies informs me that I've an update, it goes through the process of downloading the update, everything works decent, the firmware update components are identified...
and then everything stops. It just goes on telling me that the firmware update is being downloaded, but nothing happens. There is no indication, and no intimation about what is happening. All this time, the Kies software takes a constant 25% of my CPU.
Kindly suggest on what could the issue be. I'm using the latest version of Kies, and as I've mentioned already, it is a India Galaxy S4, the Exynos Octa version.
Thanks for your help.
