Some have indicated here that release will update OTA when it comes out. Over on XDA they are saying we'll have to downgrade to MM and get the N update OTA. Can anyone clarify why they think the release will come in over the beta?

I second this question. How would you go about flashing back? Is it a simple process? Will probably have to wipe the phone again

Downloaded and running smoothly! This is pretty amazing. I think this software update will keep my away from my pixel now. That's the only reason I've been on my pixel is because of nougat. Now I have the best of both worlds on the s7 edge.

Is this available for the s7 active? My husband has one and I wanted to update his

Yes it's available in S7 and S7 Active, S7 Edge all 3, just need to do search on XDA for the S7 Active Thread.

Excellent thanks. Not sure if you saw my question before as far as getting the official OTA from AT&T. Will it be necessary to flash back to MM, if so is that an easy process?

Yes very easy process lot's have answered that on XDA S7 Edge thread, just look on posts or ask over there.

I'm quite happy with this one and wouldn't mind keeping it, except for issue that I don't know if future security updates will apply over the air to this one.
When the official update comes out, it is possible that it will update this one OTA and it won't be an issue. I'm assuming though, that I'll have to go back to stock MM (using ODIN) first. I've done that in the past and it is not a big deal to do that.

when i installed, i kept getting a Bluetooth.odex error. now my Bluetooth doesn't work at all.

the error is: "/system/app/Bluetooth/oat/arm/Bluetooth.odex" had unexpected contents

oh well...everything else works.

Yup, everyone gets the latest ota when it releases.

Have you received the latest build OTA? I haven't and I'm still running QA4

You won't get AT&T OTA since QA4 is not official you need to Odin back to Marshmallow APK1 then you will get OTA Nougat QA6 which it's Official AT&T !

Which was precisely my initial fear. Flashing back to APK1 is beyond my Android technical skill set. Doing some research on the process now.

Edit: I found good instructions on XDA and I'm all set.

i noticed a dimmer display contrast and brightness,before only used up to 40 percent bright, now its 60 or more with nougat

I found solid instructions on XDA and was able to revert to MM and update to QA6 successfully.
