When re-booting, apps disappear

When re-booting my S7 Edge, some apps on my home screen disappear. I have to go back to the app drawer and put them back on my home screen.

Is it the same apps? Which ones?

The same ones. RainAware is one , Amazon Music, Pokemon Go, and Prime Photos

Not sure what is going on.... perhaps contact the developer for Amazon. If they can correct it with an update, then it's an app issue. You could also try a different launcher, like Nova, to see if that may fix it.

This issue has been occurring on my phone for months. I have a suspicion that it's connected to the application App Manager 3. If the OP has App Manager 3 installed, perhaps this suspicion will be corroborated. The fault happens (on my phone) sporadically, and I correct it by using the backup and restore function included in Nova Prime. As it is nothing more than a minor annoyance, I haven't looked any further into it.

Do not have App Mgr 3 on my phone. The last time I re-booted they all came back. Been spotty whether all come back or these certain ones don't.

might have something to do with apps that are installed on the SD card
