Please see the 3 attachments. The first is an email saying my software is not up to date. The next 2 are screenshots saying it is. I'm confused.

Welcome to Android Central! To be clear, I'm assuming you're having trouble installing the software for Oculus Home, correct? I wouldn't call Oreo a "really old version" -- most apps these days should still be compatible with Oreo. If you were running Lollipop or KitKat, then that would make more sense.

What exactly are you encountering when you try to install the Oculus software? Do you get an error message? Do you know if Oculus requires​ Pie to be installed?

Yes, apparently it requires Pie. I have Occulus installed, but cannot install any games or apps within Oculus. How do I get Pie if my phone says there is no update necessary?

You can't, unless you root the phone and look for a custom ROM for your phone based on Pie. The forums at XDA-developers.com can be a good resource for that kind of thing, but it's not for beginners.:-\ Otherwise, consider upgrading your phone to one that has Pie.
