What features are Launcher dependant

To those who have played around with different launchers:
What native S8 features do you lose when switching to a different launcher?
Which one are baked into the OS and work on any launcher?
For example: do the edge trays only work on the stock launcher? Does the Bixby feed from the left still work?
What if anything is lost?

Using Nova. Edge slideouts work fine. Edge notifications work fine. Bixby does not slide from left (thank you), but the button works.

You can't use the motion effect on wallpaper outside of the stock launcher.

I use 3D IMAGE LIVE WALLPAPER for this effect with Nova

The infinity wallpapers all work fine on Nova

I'm actually not using Nova, but using the BlackBerry Launcher because I need the Notification sparks for the BlackBerry Hub accounts....

Even on my Priv, I used Nova. Works great and you don't miss out on anything.

The only two things I could note I lost was the stock widget and that when you long press on an icon you get different options than with the stock launcher. I like the options that I get with nova better and I solved the widget issue installing xwidget app and downloading a widget that was exactly the same as the stock one

Like I said... no Hub sparks and no sparks on Homescreen email account shortcuts is a big no-no for me and very important.
