S8 when sending picture message only sends cropped left corner

[Android Central Question]

The last month or so when sending a picture to a mobile it will crop the image and only send the zoomed in top left corner of the image.
I use Messenger. Can still send pics to facebook accounts its only mobile numbers that does this.

Welcome to Andrrodi Central! This has been a common complaint recently, and seems to be a bug specific to Facebook Messenger (I assume that's what you mean by Messenger). It might also be specific to Samsung phones -- I can't recall if I've ever seen this issue mentioned with phones from other manufacturers. I would change your default SMS/MMS app back to the stock Messaging app and send the Facebook Messenger app developer feedback about this problem.
