Will the Tab 3 charge with a charger that is not Samsung?

My Tab will only charge with the Samsung charger that came with it. It won't work with any other chargers I have that I use to charge my phone. Is this normal?

Samsung tablets usually need a 2.1 amp charger like the one that's included with the tablet in order to charge properly. Weaker phone chargers won't work very well.

It will have to be a charger capable of 2.1 Amps, but not all chargers will work with the Samsung and not all cables will work with all chargers! It may take a little trial and error to get the right combination! OEM Samsung chargers are available on Ebay and Amazon for less than $10 and seem to always work best for me! Look for the lightening bolt in the battery icon when charging!
