Gmail and Google messages notifications don't vibrate

For a while now my Gmail hasn't vibrated for an incoming mail. Just last week messages started doing it also. The notifications still come to the watch, they just don't vibrate. My other apps still work as normal. Anyone else experiencing this? Have a solution?

I have the same issue. A little research shows that it is common across the entire Samsung wearable line, as well as other smart watches. I switched to another messaging app, pulse messaging. Vibration notification is working again. Pulse has a similar look as Android messages, which I like. I highly recommend it.

So Pulse stopped vibrating after a couple weeks. Gave up trying to fix this. I went back to Android Messages as I preferred it. Then all of a sudden, it started vibrating again after a couple weeks. Didn't notice any app updates that addressed this. We'll see if it sticks.
