So I have a question. Places like panda express do not have an external card reader, rather one built into there machine. Basically I bought a gift card on Samsung pay for panda express but I'm honestly not sure if they would accept my phone instead of a card? Has anybody tried this before or no? Do cashier's complain?

If the terminal has a swipe slot then you can put the phone near it and it should work. Cashiers are there to serve customers. If they complain I would go somewhere else.

I think it's rude to hand a cashier a $800 device and expect them to be responsible for it. You know if they dropped it all hell would break loose. I keep a card in my phone case for this reason. If I can easily reach over I do, otherwise I'm handing them a card.
