Corporate email notification

Hi,

I'm coming from a Photon and use corporate email. While i'm at my laptop and receive email and view it, the notification remains on my Galaxy and doesn't essentially sync and go away. The email will sync that i read it, but the notification won't go away like it does using Gmail or like it did on my Photon.

Is there a way to correct this?

I would be interested in this too, mine does the same thing and keeps my led light blinking. Really not that big of a deal but it would be nice to figure it out.
