Some apps don't work with root... how do I fix it/get around it?

I have a rooted Epic 4g touch with stock ROM. There are some apps (NFL Pro 12 and Madden 2012 for example) that I can't install. They won't even show up on Google Play when I try to find them on my phone's Google Play app. And when I look them up on the computer at Google Play, it says "this app is incompatible with your Sprint Samsung SPH-D710."
Anybody know how I can fix this?

EDIT: I'm running stock Gingerbread ROM, el29.

Chainfire 3d will work plus you can run all the tetra games (graphic heavy games)
