This just showed up when it hit 2013

See attached, today a small calendar icons started to show on my weather widget, if I click ir it goes to the built in calendar app, is this sometginf new or just the first tine I am noticing it?

I think it is because there is an option for event notifications, including a new year. Unchecked it will not pop up.

Thanks skld, I was able to turn it off and back on, never saw it before since it's the first holiday/event since I got my phone in Sept.

Makaroni, Hickory Grove is a neighborhood area in Charlotte, weather pulls all sorts of neighborhood information.

My S3 says my font is Choco Cooky, but what's wrong with it? I hate the default, Helvetica S, and Rosemary fonts.

skld's screenshot above is under the settings for the widget itself. Click on the weather widget then the menu button to get into the settings. It's on the bottom of the settings page.

Yeah, this is why I kept searching low and high for a way to sideload fonts, and that's how I found THIS: http://forums.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-s-iii/216923-collection-fonts-your-s3.html I was able to download this, unzip it, and I load the APK's into Dropbox, then download the font onto the phone.. A tip; if you do decide to use this, bookmark the thread, that way you have something to look at to preview what font you want! I didn't mean to take the thread OT, but I give help where needed! I use a local channel's weather widget, I despise the stock one..

Why would anyone need a notification for the new year??!? Seems like a silly notification to me. The birthday notifications make sense though.

With ATT after the last update the event notification settings are no longer there. Do you sprint users still have the setting?

They're gone for me too, I think it was the update to the Accuweather Widget/App that did it.
