Advice for after rooting?

Hey guys, just rooted my phone, now I have one or two questions. First off, one of the more common questions, what's the best way to be able to view emoticons? Second off, an even more generic question, what are some ways to increase phone speed and battery life after rooting? Any feedback would be appreciated, thanks all

Alot many apps are available, which run only on rooted devices (Though I have never tried them ).. You can give them a try.
