Display issues with certain ROMs

Every single ROM i try, except CM10, have major display issues. The entire screen from startup image to home screen have, what I describe, a grainy overlay. Almost impossible to use. Any thoughts on why this would be?

YES!!!!! the rom you are flashing is not compatible with the phone you are using. ie, you flashed a P500 rom on a P505/P506!?

the cm10 is probably rashed97's? and was probably built for your phone...

you did not do your home work before flashing in short you need one of many custom kernels made to run such roms on your phone.
