100% confirmed - Flash and 2.1 coming to Moto Droid

So for big releases like this, it wipes the phone.. then you log back in to get all your contacts.. what about the apps? do you just go to the Marketplace and then click on downloads and it lists them and you basically just re-download them? anyone know?

All of your applications will be put back on the phone when you log in with your Gmail info.

And it'll connect the folders to the appropriate apps it created on the card?



I see alot of random folders on my mSD card.. I hope it doesn't create new folders..

I just called VZW customer service to ask if they knew when 2.1 was being released for the Droid. They said they didn't know and gave me motorola's number. I called motorola. They said they didn't know when 2.1 was coming out. I'm in Nebraska...don't know if that means anything...but we have a VZW call center, so maybe different locations have different information... If I don't get the update by 11:59 pm on the 22nd...I'll just assume I'll get it before I die in the next 7-9 decades...
