100% confirmed - Flash and 2.1 coming to Moto Droid

We shouldn't be asking "why are they making us wait?", but "why the hell aren't we more patient?". I'm as excited as the rest of you for this Droid 2.1 update, but come on. There is nothing you can do to speed up the updating process unless the update leaks beforehand. Either way, you're going to have to wait -- patiently. Nobody here is "entitled" to any sort of update. They said we'd get it, yes, but all in good time.

I didn't mean it literally more so to show that I'm really looking forward to it.
And waiting is half the game just wish that game was short haha

Try Home++ its free and works great. Or Launcher++ is just like stock but with 5 screens

That is pretty much the only reason I want it.

I actually like the app drawer more than the fancy rolodex-ish thing going on.

Maybe the live wallpapers, but I change my background at least once every 2 days, so live or not I will change it.

Its pretty sweet. its the main reason why I havent rooted my droid and put 2.1 on it.

Alas friends 2.1 will be like 148 was to the storm1....remember were on vzw....they take foreverrrrrrrr plus I work for vzw and we usually find out between 3 days to a week...but my data Guy hears about a month out and he says vzw hasn't even started testing 2.1 and that's a 90% bank on that sorry.. just crushing hopes.

There will probably be an official (VZW) 2.1 leak/announcement soon, guys and gals. Don't you worry. And don't listen to your "data guy"... Haha.

The "data guy" does not know it passed testing. Not a very
knowledgeable source if you ask me.
