spooke with the ceo of verizon today at lunch, we ended up taking a **** in adjacent stalls and he ran outa toilet paper. He asked me to lend him some and i told him id give him a roll if he'd tell me when we get 2.1
I think he used his hands.
I'm sure it's not what everyone wants to see, but at least we're getting SOME kind of acknowledgment. That's more than I can say about other companies

except for the " Live " wallpaper it didn't really sell me...
Here's what I'm looking forward to, less lag when pulling the notification bar down, less lag switching screens, more GPU acceleration and better battery life.
I dont really care for the live wallpapers because all that seems to be is a battery drain and a cpu resource hog. If they can nail it down so it has minimal effect on both of those it'd be cool..but thats more fluff.
5 dedicated homescreens for me.
Thats gonna be subjective because I don't have any lag with my notification pulldown, and the lag that is perceived on switching screens is more due to the fact that the icons/widgets scroll at a different speed than the wallpaper itself, which gives the perception of a stuttering kind of lag. IMO, Google needs to have a way to disable the wallpaper scroll, or speed it up to be in sync with the icons and widgets.
As for battery life, I have had my wifi turned on since 6:30 am, and have been moving between multiple wifi networks and 3G, some light browsing, texting and talking, about 15 minutes of Pandora and 15 minutes of mp3s, playing around with Motorola Phone Portal and I am still at 60% twelve hours later. Thats really not bad considering how much power wifi takes and the fact it was scanning for networks quite often as I switched betweeen wifi and 3G.
That tells me that I could have done some heavy usage and still lasted until I could drop it in the dock to charge. Not bad for a high powered phone, IMO.
