$100 Phone Trade-In

So does anybody know how this applies to the Developer Edition? I pre-ordered mine today and didn't receive any kind of confirmation email (not even for the order). I still have the saved trade-up information and code though.

Was it your current phone? The fine print states it has to be the phone you most recently had active on the account. I don't know if they have any way of actually checking that, but I recall reading that in the terms.

There's no possible way for them to know

If I read it correctly it means the HTC One has to be activated not the trade in device. The trade in just needs to be in working order. Now, once you send it in you aren't guaranteed the trade in price quoted and you cannot get the phone back.

If you don't have a confirmation or an order number I'd be concerned. You might want to call.

You are guaranteed what they quoted as long as the phone works at a minimum of $100

You might want to check out the Best Buy trade in program. HTC offered $50 for my Blackberry Torch 9800 with the charger. Best Buy is going to give me a $70 Best Buy gift card. If I keep the charger they will give me $65. I think I'll do that because a good charger is hard to find! The process is much easier with Best Buy, too!

So I just completed the HTC One trade in process for the $100 gift card, but I am running into a problem. I forgot to click the print form button and now I can't get back to that page. Everytime I put in my personal ID it wants the personal promo code but its now become invalid. I need some help please.

Call them directly

Anyone who signed up for the trade-in but lost the follow-up email with the code, keep an eye on your inbox today. Out of the blue, I just received a "Pre-Registration Promo Code Reminder" email from NTC a little while ago. Not sure if it might have been triggered by my picking up my pre-ordered One @ Best Buy this morning, or if they are just sending it out to coincide with the official launch today.

Does anyone recall the instructions for sending in the old phone?

I printed out the shipping label and the voucher, but I can't remember the procedure except for including the order receipt or UPC with the IMEI shown.

I regestered for this, but I cannot find the email! Is there a webpage or contact email to get ahold of them about this program?

Does anyone know which phones will qualify for more than a $100 credit? I have different phones I can "trade in", debating how I want to do this. Wondering how much the Samsung galaxy S2 is worth and whether I should trade that in instead of my super-old Mytouch.

I don't think it matters at all as long as it works. I put down a Palm Pre and it gave me the $100.

the s2 is worth $75 and the mytouch is worth $12 through the trade up site

Right. I figure I can get the minimum $100 for my ancient mytouch. Was really wanting to know if I could get more for the S2, and if so, how much more. Otherwise I'd trade-in my S2 via T-Mobile's trade-in program for a credit on my next bill.
