Dead on, and thanks! Though a bit confusing, you choose the get started link (even though you previously registered), reenter your trade in info then your pre-registration code and submit. You are then given choices of whether you are ready to proceed or not. I input the new phone info, name, address etc., and hit continue. A voucher and a shipping label, is then generated to print, with some additional directions/advice on shipping the phone, etc. Thanks again!

699 at bb 549 at sprint but they refused to sell me my pre reserved one on launch day

Nothing elaborate or demanding. They recommended shipping the phone in an envelope, sorrounded by padding etc. As I pretty much had my packaging, ready, I sort of skimmed this part. There was no "attention" or "warning", type of info. This was all a postscript to the mailing label and voucher, and and only an FYI.

I thought I remember seeing notes like order confirmation with IMEI displayed, phone is not password protected, etc.

Sprint would sell me one today (off contract) but I'm waiting for the black.

They told me 599 would knock off 50$ to make it 549. Just wanted to check others cuz it didn't sound right. Anyone get BBC to price match this?

That may be, but since the shipping label is "No postage necessary if mailed in the United States", (quite generous IMHO) it makes sense that they recommended light packaging! I apologize, but if there was anything else of any real importance, I missed it. I PDFd for backup, but the postscript to the labels seems not to have been saved. Perhaps someone else ready finish the process can fill us in on any other important directions.

I was wondering the same thing. I had an old blackberry and they said it was worth 100$, but I got the email but no address.

I mailed in my Evo 3D yesterday, we'll see what happens. Hope you can keep track of the progress. No matter, won't know til late June.

Does anyone know how firm HTC is regarding purchasing the phone by April 30th? My upgrade kicks in May 1st and Sprint isn't budging.

I don't think that htc is going to be very flexible about that date. I had ordered a black htc one and asked them if I could use the trade in program if I had preordered the black phone and the black phone wasn't available by April 30. They emailed me that they had already extended the date and store availability of different color phones was basically my problem. They might be a little more flexible if you call them and explain your situation.

Regarding Sprint, they sometimes have a program where you can buy back time to upgrade early. You might have to go to a Sprint store to ask. You might also call Sprint and ask to speak with somebody in the retention department. Tell them you are thinking about switching carriers if they cannot be flexible for 1 day. Retention can sometimes override these problems.

Good luck.

Since I dont have a printer at home, I was relying on the part that said they would be sending me an email with a link to the details if I were to close the screen with the link to the label to print. I have not gotten that email with the link to the printable label for both of the phones I plan on trading in. Anyone else choose to print their labels later from the email they were "supposed" to send?

Never got the email, but I did just re-enter the code I received via email on teh website and it brought my saved profile where I was allowed to print the voucher.

The code I received a couple of moths ago doesn't work! It says that it's already being used?? BS
I'm glad HTC can build quality phones, but the Let's Talk trouble and this "rebate" is a horrible excuse for customer service...

I know you can still register for it, because they just sent me an email saying to buy the one before may 19th and then register to send it it...says they extended the purchase date til then..so you guys can still get in on it.
