$100 rebate link

I'll never understand why some people will spend 100x more time on a forum flapping their jaws about "Where's the update?" than it takes to root your phone and flash an updated ROM.

Can anyone answer this mystery for me? Cause I'm confused...

I used a custom rom, SpearmintGum Gummy Kang to be exact, and I thought it was buggy. I am much happier using the .232 ICS release.

What ROM are you using??

I signed up.... And this rebate... Do we have to buy a new phone from Motorola for retail price?? Wouldn't it be cheaper getting a new one through Verizon when you are at the 18 month mark? IDK about you, but there are much more appealing phones out there compared to Motorola, and after the bullcrap we had to deal with in regard to data drops, updates, etc.... I personally do not want another Motorola phone. The S3 and nexus 2 (when released) are much more enticing IMO

You don't have to buy the phone from Motorola at retail (unless you want one of the unlockable developer editions), but you do need to buy a Motorola phone. They also left it open as to whether they give you cash back or a carrier credit.

I want retroactive cash back as I'm pulling the trigger on the RAZR HD dev phone when it's up. It's already on the unlock page so you can see how serious they are.

I only hope they offer up the discount - while I like JB on my N7, I really have had enough of this phone being left in the dust. Never have I seen a phone with the initial hype like the Bionic get brushed to the side so fast

With three phones now no longer getting ICS, I feel like the chance of the Bionic getting JB is now less.

Once Motorola figures out if the Bionic gets JB or not, that's when I'll figure out if I get another Motorola or not. :P

Luckily I'm a Bionic owner and am used to waiting long periods of time only to be disappointed in the end.
