128GB Google Pixel XL shipments delayed until December 26th by Verizon!


well more bad news for us waiting on the pixel xl 128 gb version from verizon. It is delayed again now until december 26th. Yesterday in bj's wholesale a verizon rep told me that he was told january will be the earliest to get the device. So far i have not received any text or emails from verizon about my pixel xl others are reporting that they received a text about the with the new date as seen above. I am really thinking about canceling my pre-order and going for the lg-v20. As soon as i get my update i will fill you guys in.

UPDATE: After getting off the phone for hour and a half with Verizon. There are no Pixel XL 128GB available at all. None at Google and none at Verizon. New date is December 26th. Those that are ordering since last week they are telling them January 2017.

That's interesting for them to say that considering I just placed an order on the Google store about 45 minutes ago and got a confirmation number as well as a shipping date for later this week.

The Google Store is saying sold Out. On my phone and on my Computer! Add to waiting list!
 
I ordered the 128GB XL in Quite Black last night at a corporate store and it is currently showing a shipment date of 1/13.
 
At some point, if not already, I think the handling of orders is going to be the most annoying thing about the Pixel.
 
All those Black Friday/Cyber Monday shoppers. Big V can't handle it.
 
I ordered a black Pixel XL 128gb from Verizon yesterday morning....Its on the FedEx truck for delivery today by noon...They have one hour.haha. I guess I am REALLY lucky!
Where's your proof? The guys that ordered thru Google Store showed proof.

Yup. Ordered mine in black friday. Ship date of 1/6
 
Already annoying. PRE-Ordered from Verizon on 10/16, with a ship date of 10/28. Called Verizon on 10/26 to confirm it would ship on 10/28. Was told it would DEFINITELY ship on 10/28. Then on the morning of 10/28 I got an email saying the ship date has changed to 12/2. My order still just says processing and when I click for more info it says no information available lmao

I ordered mine on 10/18/16 and was given the date of 11/11/16. Then on the date of the 11th got an email with a New date of 11/26. Now December 26th!
 
Me too. I originally had an 11/18 ship date, now 12/26. I still think it's related to the connectivity issues and Verizon is waiting on a newly manufactured batch from HTC that has a better antenna. They don't want to sell anymore phones that won't stay connected that they will continue to have problems with. Of course, that's probably not it at all, but it doesn't hurt to hope, right?

Seems as if the connectivity issues were software related. Those in Canada with connectivity issues and dropped calls are all stating that when they received the latest software update we are getting next week the dropped calls and poor signal is non existent
