Ok so I think I'm gonna order mine. I get a 25% corporate discount thru work anyways so why not.
Now I know you can't judge the battery by the first day, but after 16 hours of hard use today (few hours online, a two hour movie and texting), I still have 50% juice left! I'm loving it and don't even care about the increased thickness anymore.
I just picked this up as well and I'm really liking it! Honestly its one of the better looking extended battery doors I've seen IMO and if it gets me though the day I'm happy. I was only getting like 5 hours out of a charge before. I'll test it out tomorrow and see how things go and report back.
Alright I gave in and ordered mine this morning. Paid extra for overnight shipping. Will be here tomorrow.
I just got mine today as well and it's not that bad. I even asked a few of the people at my office (some who are iPhone users) if they thought it looked to thick and they actually liked it. Felt better in the hand to hold more securely and they all did the "pocket test" to see if it was still easy to get into their pocket and how comfortable it was to walk with it in pocket, it passed with flying colors.
The pictures don't do it justice and the other thing I like about it is that the metal ring around the camera lens is protected now along with the glass lens being more recessed in and protected.
EDIT: Just texted on the phone in landscape mode and if feels a whole lot better to hold. Before it was too thin and made it a little clumsy to hold and type with, that's my opinion. Maybe I'm still used to holding the Storm 2 but I like this new battery and cover.

Agreed on liking the battery aesthetics... I'm charging it now while powered off, but I held the phone and I have to say I'm very happy with it. It retains the styling they were going for on the back, but the pictures don't do it justice. The pics make it look much more awkward than it really is. Plus, it defintely gives the phone a better "feel" in the hands. Can't speak about performance yet, but I am VERY happy I decided to purchase the bigger battery...
Oh, and Makya? I, like yourself, am a pretty big guy... The extra weight is great! I think it will be just what you're looking for based on many other posts I've seen from you. However, it's not a huge weight gain, so it won't turn away those of you looking to keep the phone light. The phone now weighs exactly 5.50 ounces... The specs off of VZW's site are exactly what I got as well with the stock battery, 4.59 ounces...

My only complaint right now is trying to find a silicone case now that will fit the new door. My old one will kind of fit but it's obviously bulging like a size 10 woman wearing size 5 spandex pants.
I have the hard silicon case from VZW, I haven't received my battery yet (Its being delievered today) - I was wondering how much a heat gun or hair dryer might soften it up and allow me to re-shape the back to make it fit a little bit better.
If you were going to attempt that, the heat gun would probably be the most likely option to work... Oh, and wear REALLY good gloves...
Thanks for the update crkhead, I should get mine today. I already started reeling out the battery spot on my Verizon case. That dentist did an amazing job on his.

I just received my 2150 battery right now! Phone is charging... and i love the size of this battery. It has some "meat" to it now, makes phone feel solid. The pictures don't do it justice!
Looks just like the 2150's cover just 2mm bigger. Same difference between the sotck cover and the 2150's. They are all ugly, but then again maybe someone will find the 3500 makes it feel more like a brock phone or a blackberry. More "manly" lol.
Have you seen the 2150 back cover in person or even held one attached to the phone to see how it feels? If not then how can you really pass judgment on it? I'll admit, in the pictures it did not look good but I kept my opinions to myself until I saw it for myself in person. Seeing it on the phone and handling it in person is a whole different thing. It does not look as big as it does in the pictures and it really does make the phone feel better in hand especially when texting in landscape mode.
Yes I have. I know how it feels. Do you honestly think the 4-5 people who report they have it here are the only ones who have this?? How can you pass judgement on me when you know nothing about me. So I would continue to keep your opinions to yourself when you don't know me in person.

I never asserted you didn't, it was a question (that's what all the ? are for after each sentence)....you usually ask questions to find out things....no?
