2150 mAh battery and I LIKE IT!!!!

Just as an experiment would you be above turning on your GPS and bluetooth if you use it or not all day and let me know. I use those things and would love a good bearing on the usage with those included.

Oh I had my GPS on all day. I use it for updating my Beautiful Weather widget.

Yahoo emails update every 2 hours
Gmail pushes to my phone when I receive an email
A few RSS feed readers (I'm not sure how often they automatically update)
Beautiful Weather updates every hour
Dow and S&P 500 widgets that update every few hours
Engadget widget that updates every few hours
news widget that updates every 6 hours
FML widget that updates every few hours
Android Central widget (not sure of the update frequency but I THINK it's every few hours)

Yay FedEx just dropped mine off. I like it its not as thick as the pics showed. I'll report tomorrow how its holding up.

Okay, I have had mine fired up with full charge and using the heck out of it. I have to say it feels so good to not have to worry about my battery dying out on the road when I have no charger around. The thing is a beast of power!

I am so loving the size and look of the battery as well. Like I said earlier, the pic's don't do it justice and when I show this puppy to my friends, they like it. The Incredible with this battery is a remarkable phone.

Last but not least.....I don't know about yours but my back cover fit so tight that the reset key on top would press down very easily. Simple fix was to file it down just a bit and all is good.

Maybe I'm pushing mines to the limit I have Bluetooth on and listening to series radio with WiFi on and gps. With the screen on a hundred gmail web browsing Twittering beautiful wedgit with the weather updating every 2hours and its dead after 4.5 or 5 hours is something wrong with my phone or do I have a bad app taking up energy?

Streaming music with WiFi, GPS (huge battery drainer), all those emails, etc...you are using the hell out of your phone. The GPS radio sucks up battery power when left on. Streaming radio keeps the WiFi radio on and the phone never goes to "sleep" I can see why your phone only gets 5 hours.

Go to "Options" -> "About Phone" - "Battery" and see if the "Up time" and "Awake time" numbers match. If they do, you'r phone is not going to sleep because of all the activity going on. You can even click on the arrow to the right of "Battery Use" to see what's using most of your battery power.

Yeah I only received 5 emails and I was doing the same thing with the stock battery and getting the same results

StayFly, are you using any sort of battery widget? I know BatteryTime Lite for instance does not automatically tell how much battery is left. Basically, it is preprogrammed based on phone and the stock mah battery.

When i booted up using my new 2150mah battery, it still said i only had like 3 hours of web time. I had to go into the widget settings, select my phone as "other" and type in the 2150 has the size of my battery.

Think this could be your problem or is your battery readings straight from the "About Phone" portion of the phone settings?

Just hot mine from the FedEx guy and now my phone feels solid..its not as big as the pics make it out to be..bye bye 1750.

And what would be the best way to do this? Charge it whenever possible or drain it then fully charge it?

Will the phone fit in the car dock with that new backing on it? That's kind of the deciding factor for me.

There are a few 2150 battery threads, so I'll post the info here too... Both drPheta and Myself were able to get around 26-27 hours before the phone said it needed a charge at 14%...

I just transformed my VZW case and holster to work with my 2150.game on..

Have you seen it in person? It's really not that bad!

My biggest headache is no accessories work with it. So yeah I would get great battery life but no case made for it, no desktop or car cradle for it etc. I'm still on the fence about it, going to wait till I can get a saturation of opinions on this things before I bite and try it out. Right now responses have me leaning towards that way anyways because of the 25-30 hours of battery life. Holy crap!

OK, so I charged the phone with the power on this time... As soon as I took it off the charger, the battery widget displays 95%... Hmmm

I have the extended battery as well and I charge my phone with the power on all the time, I can't turn the phone off during the night because of work. That said, yesterday I took my phone off charge and like you, I noticed that the charge (looking at the battery icon at the top of the screen showed about 95%.

However, I took my phone off charge this morning (using the same exact charger and phone still on and same amount of charge time) and the battery icon is rock solid at 100%.

Even with the Seido and Stock battery it did this.

I wonder is there is some software bug that is causing it to do this like the same one exists for the cell signal?
