3 Clicks, and I'm on 4.0.4

Did it 20 times yesterday to no avail. Did it this morning again nothing, Decided to do it on WiFi. Worked immediately

I personally think that this was all coincidental. I checked my GNex this morning, and the update was pushed. As was mentioned in other articles, Big Red is slowly pushing this update out to handsets, so I don't believe trying to force the update is going to work. But, that's my opinion, so perhaps I'm wrong. I waited as patiently as I could, and the update arrived. Good luck!

Since my GN got it when I just hit "check for updates" last night, but my partner's didn't, this worked like a charm on the second try just less than 3 min ago. Thanks so much!

This worked for me on the second try. However, I am unlocked and rooted and the OTA won't install :'(

Everyone...clear it out like post says...but reboot phone before checking for update. That worked for me.

Rebooting is a waste of time, the phone checks for updates on restart. So you are wasting the time it takes to shut down and restart, all you need to do is hit the "check now" button and start over if it doesn't download.

Yup this worked, I think the trick it to make sure you are LTE/CDMA network and not Wi-Fi... Thanks for this tip.

Did mine on wi-fi, and many other people are too.

Connection doesn't seem to make a difference at all..............just the process and doing it until it takes.

Wow worked on my first try, very pleasant surprise. Thanks!

I'm not sure if it makes a difference, but after the OTA install failed for me initially, I unrooted and tried again. It worked.
