Which error? I'd wait. Sometimes it takes time for things to register, and further, it may be overloaded.

noticeably snappier/smoother and so far I'm not seeing the same connected but no data sent (grey wifi/3g/4g bars) issues but it may be too soon to tell. really happy with the update even though I'm not seeing any better signal strength in db.

This just worked for me! I tried about 15 times yesterday with no luck, but I just did it now and it pulled the update!

Worked for me! The first couple times I tried it, I was on wifi and it didn't work. I turned off wifi, and the first time i tried, it started downloading!

Thank you very much for posting this! I was on Wi-Fi and this worked on the first try. I don't understand why Verizon is rolling this out so slowly.

Just clearing and checking update didn't work, tried a couple times. But clear and then reboot worked.

Worked for me after about the tenth try. I repeated the process a bunch of times and gave up. then around 1 am EST I went to bed and tried it one last time and lo and behold it updated. Now lets see if this turd behaves properly otherwise ima either root or replace it with a Dinc4G.

Thanks for sharing. This worked for me this morning. I was skeptical but after the sixth try it started downloading.

I just picked up my gnex two days ago... So I'm pretty pumped but I probably won't really 'see' any difference except this thing kicks my blackberrys ass!

The ONLY issue I had with my Gnex was the volume being too low. This update fixed this. I even uninstalled Volume+ to make sure.

When I go to Google Services Framework, I am unable to Clear Data, because it sits in "Computing" for at least 10 minutes. Is that normal? I've tried just clicking Force Stop, then checking for the update, but I'm not seeing the 12/31/1969 date. I've rebooted my phone 3 times and that doesn't help either. All I'm doing is watching my battery go down! :-\

I'll be damned, this worked. Tried it about 4 times at work, no go, then early this morning tried it again before I went to bed - and it got the update!

Everything seems much snappier, although I am really disliking that the camera shutter sound is no longer tied to the media volume. I don't want to have to put my phone into silent/vibrate mode if I want to take a picture without bothering anyone...

I got this to work on my 4th try. I don't know if it's coincidence but on the 4th try I followed the instructions implicitly which included going back to the home screen after clearing and stopping the service but before checking for updates.
