4.4 for Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-I9300

My dad has a Galaxy Note 3 and I've noticed that it's running on 4.4.2, I've read some articles and saw that some people say the S3 won't get the 4.4 version, while others say in the end of March. We're in the middle of April now and still no update. Is the S3 recieving the 4.4 update or not? If yes, when?

Note: My S3 is international.
