I'm still on 4.4.3 because I never got an OTA notification for 4.4.4, 5.0, and now 5.0.1. I'm pretty sure I've somehow fallen off of Google's radar. My question is how to get this fixed? Certainly there has to be a process, right? Right?
I have the update notification but I am going to wait a week to see if bugs and performance issues pop up. I really am happy with kit kat and wouldn't even consider updating if it makes my tablet less responsive.

I got the OTA notification and attempted to install to my Nexus 7, but it failed with an unknown error. Tried about a half dozen times and finally gave up.
Side loaded the 5.0.1 razor version and my Nexus 7 is working perfectly.
Keep in mind the OTA upgrade to lollipop can take a long time because it must compile all of your installed apps for the new ART runtime. Side loading is fast as it erases the entire device first.
Yep battery life on the tablet with 5.0.1 has been fantastic. Hopefully the Nexus 5 will get the update soon and resolve the horrid battery life that 5.0 seems to have caused.I had the same issue had to do a clean install of 5.01, it also fixed a battery issue with lollipop 5 that had been bothering the tablet.
Dled it this evening. So far I had one reboot. Other than that works pretty smoothly. Other issue I found, I can't get my Chromecast to sync up. Anyone having issues with Chromecast?
