5.1.1 or 6.0 for the G4?

Just curious if anyone has seen or heard if the G4 would get 5.1.1 or skip and LG go straight to 6.0 Marshmallow? I have preview 3 running on my Nexus 5 and love it so far. It's standby time is amazing in comparison to Lollipop, on my Nexus 5 anyway.

From everything I've read, it's skipping 5.1.1 and going straight to 6.0.

The G4 will jump straight to 6.0 Marshmallow.

So will the G2 and G3.

Unroot and take the update if it looks good enough to warrant the update right away. I'm on Sprint but it's the same.

I hope this update doesn't mess up my phone. L seemed to have some annoyances when I took it on G3.

Yeah I figured that. I am on Verizon and who knows when this update will come. Lol

If Google announces roll out to Nexus devices in October, I would guess that carrier versions wouldn't see it until January or February.
