7/16/2012 NO CHARGE OR EMAIL (GP Check-in Thread)

Google thoroughly ticked me off. NOW they decide to send an email. This is all most of us wanted in the first place; a little communication. I'm glad they decided to eat the cost to upgrade to next day shipping. Hope they're hungry; cause they're gonna eat the cost of the tablet too. I don't need it.

I got my email while i was in the parking lot of MicroCenter as i picked up my 32GB 10" Asus Transformer 300TF for $349. It w ill likely get Jelly Bean since Asus made the N7 and there's no carrier to hold up an update.

I'm actually glad Google screwed up. Otherwise, i wouldn't have purchased the Transformer.

Too little, too late, Google. All you had to do was send this email a week ago with this information. But thanks for jerking me around. Now I have what I want and didn't pay for shipping - next day or otherwise.

I'd rephrase that politely, and send it to them. I know one person isn't going to make a huge different to a massive, massive entity like Google, but who knows. Let them know their treatment cost them a customer.
 
Google is a business and it's bad business for a company to admit a mistake has been made. If a business did admit a mistake then their competitors would that against them. For a business to admit to mistake, the mistake would have to be televised forcing them to take action. However for that to happen their has to be enormous out cry from the general public or the mistake to be serious legal offense to make public. Unfortunately the N7 is not a product the general public will even notice that anything wait wrong with the launch of the N7 . I guess what I am trying say is Google is not to big but rather the issue is to small issue to be relevant. All Google will take from this N7 launch is to better next time.
 
6/27 order 16 with case.

New pending charge on my credit card plus the order has move to the top of the GP list. Maybe something is happening.:)

Ordered a 16GB on the 4th. Other than the update email everyone got, I haven't heard anything. I was hoping for a tracking number this morning, but it didn't come.
 
Well, according to Ray's supervisor, Brian,,,,,,Mine is shipping today with next day delivery...so maybe Friday?? I did suggest to Brian, that if the wait time was going to be over 60 minutes, they should consider changing their on-hold music!!!!;)
 
So I just woke up and here's a major update on my order, I ordered the 16gb N7 with a case on the 27th and just yesterday I got charged. Google sent me a purchase email at 3:30am this morning and at 3:31am my tracking #, I tracked my package and apparently UPS picked it up at 2am today and its scheduled to arrive at my house later today. And it seems I'll be getting both the N7 and the case delivered today. What a quick turn arounsd, I'm so freakin excited, my disappointed towards Google is slowly diminishing.

Received an email around midnight saying my tablet was on the way.. Got another email at 3AM with a tracking #.

UPS shipped it from Louisville at 4AM, it arrived here at 7AM, and it's out for delivery.

Can't argue with same day delivery! Even if it should've been here earlier

Happy I am getting my tablet but pissed for those that haven't. I am disappoint that the pre-orders did not ship by order because we should have had our tablets Friday.

I will still be checking in this thread to keep track on everybody. Thanks for the posts. I hope everyone gets their tablet soon.

Actually you can because think about how long you waited and you should see overnight shipping is really not much to be happy about. I would be happy if Google just sent a official e-mail explaining how the pre-order process became so random and not by first come first serve bases.

Ordered 16Gb no case or accessories on July 6th. No charge or tracking information. I've tried calling about three times the past few days, on hold for over an hour and never got to speak to a rep. Has anyone who has spoken to a rep asked how they processed these orders? What method did they use?
 
6/27 9am order 16gb no accessories - emailed at 1am last night that it had shipped, out for delivery right now.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not happy with how all of this played out.

I just found it interesting that, due to the way the cards lined up on my shipment, I actually got same day delivery instead of overnight.
 
I got the email saying it would be here by Friday but still no charge or tracking number...

They shipped last night after I got the apology email and the assurance of overnight shipping. To bad that they shipped it 2nd day air and now I will not get it until Thursday according to UPS.

This has been a tiring experience with GP.
 
Update: Ordered June 28th 8gb with case got charged yesterday....woke up to a nice surprise. My tablet shipped from Kentucky and it's on it's way to my house as we speak! :p same day delivery

That's great news! I was waiting on someone who ordered on the day I did to see some movement. I ordered on 6/28 , got the email and pre-charge but no information today.
