7 Pro quicker?

I have feel that my new 7p is more snappy when I click on apps and swipe gestures etc. Is anyone else feeling this?

Kind of yes. But charging seems slower for me at least even though they have the same supposed charging speeds

Interesting...My 7 Pro seems faster...It could be that I just am not paying attention to the time. It went from 62% to 92% on a 22minute drive using a 3A car charger.

What is faster tho is that the low amp side of my chair charger's , charge my phones faster than the high amp side needed for my Pixelbook and Steam Deck...It definitely throttles the high side is which is around 65W.

I threw it to charge on my Google stand 2 .. so it charges adaptive. I have it not to charge fast if not needed...when I want fast I plug in my wall brick ..

As for the phone being snappy, it definitely feels a bit quicker. I don't know if it's a placebo effect

In use, definitely quicker than my P6P. Charging seems pretty much the same however.

I've been using both my P6P and my P7P side by side since the 7 arrived yesterday mid-day. They seem the same to me in terms of snappiness, although I haven't done anything to push the devices... Just normal use. My P6P always felt like a fast device and the 7 is no different. What is faster is the fingerprint scanner. And face unlock is darn near instant. Both are welcome improvements. The 7 warmed up slightly while setting it up but no more than any other phone I've had. In use, it hasn't gotten warm at all. Signal strength seems a tad stronger on the 7 in terms of dBm although it varies from moment to moment. On the whole it appears my signal strength is better now at my house. I haven't tested it anywhere else. Admittedly, I've only had the phone half a day but so far my experience with the 7 is encouraging.

Hmmm.... definitely a lil bit more fluid and a lot less lag then the P6P.

Plus I went into developer options and scaled back the animation rate to .5...
