probably not. that is a general android froyo issue not specific to EVO this update seems to be very device specific.

should i put back the original froyo 2.2 kernel before the update?
i installed a netarchy fps kernel and thats it.

If you installed the custom kernel for the fps fix then I would definitely revert back to the stock kernel before attempting this new update. Better safe than sorry.

Do i need to unroot my evo before this update? All i have done is root and downloaded a few root needing apps.....

I just rooted my phone a few days ago with the new UnrEVOked release. So far i'm very pleased. I would like to know if i decide to update to this new OTA can I just install it or do I have to remove the root and go back to stock first? Is there anything that I must do so I don't brick my phone?
