Yup, just did an image search for brisket chili. That looks so good.
Not sure about the image you found but one thing my chili won't have in it is beans. Not a fan of beans in chilli except maybe occasionally a can of Boston Baked beans (B&M brand preferred).

Here is the Flat part of the Brisket that will be used for Chilli. Smoked but still rare it weighs a bit over three pounds. I'll cut it in half, freeze it. This will get me two pots of Chili.

Pork Loin tonight. Smoked with Apple until 145F internal. Rub of just salt and pepper.

This pie was finished about three days after we bought it. And Hubbage doesn't enjoy pumpkin pie all that much, so guess who the culprit was! PXL_20211010_222228481.jpg

These ribeyes weren't up to the usual snuff, but they looked good on the grill. Maybe my seasoning was off, or I shouldn't have trimmed so much of the extra fat off of the tips.

Surprise brunch for Hubbage before he goes out of town for work. Too bad one of the eggs fell apart as I was finishing it. :(PXL_20211024_160108570.jpg

This is weird. I made pancakes this morning and you have the exact same syrups that we have..well the real Maple syrup brand might be different. I prefer real and she prefers "fake".

I find it interesting as a society how we have evolved. The "standard" tea and coffee cups we used to use (with saucers back then) in comparison to the "mugs" that most of us now normally use, for example.

As another example, when I was young we used to always get McDonald's coupons given out at Halloween. The Fries and Drink that we would get from those were way smaller than what is served nowadays. A standard sized soft-drink, coffee or milkshake for example seemed maybe be no bigger than a basic plain Styrofoam Cup.
