Good morning,

I have the AC folder onto my C file. It runs fine but cannot find my phone to do the APK install. The phone I am using by the way is HTC inspire 4g. I even ran a dignostic and it can't find my phone. I use a windows 7 laptop and .net or whatever was it needed downloaded. Is there anything else am I missing? The phone is set up debugged in the app settings.

I know I'm going to get a quick reply, but even when the phone plugs in it has 5 options what to have it as: Charging, USB tathering, Disk drive, and internet pass-through. Which ones should I select?

Much appreciated.

i think diskdrive, if not then charging.

Tried both. In the install it said device not found. Unless... Where does the apk file have to be? I or is there something I particulately need for it to find my phone?

WORKS

just purchased quickoffice pro for atrix and the website gave no clue as to what was ahead for installing an unknown source, frustrating. the droid x has an option to allow unknown source but not the atrix.

the side load installer worked perfectly, 30 seconds, done. thanks!

404 Not Found.

Am I missing an update to the file's location somewhere in the 35 pages of comments?

What am I missing or doing wrong for it to not identify my device?

It's one of these:

Your driver is not installed correctly
You don't have adb debugging on
Your USB connection is not set to charge only.

If you already have HTC sync installed:
Make sure your phone is not connected to the computer
Uninstall HTC sync
restart your computer
re-install HTC sync
restart your computer
Enable USB debugging
plug phone in and try it with USB connection set to charge only.

If that doesn't work, try copying something to your SD card through the cable to verify the port and cable are working.

Can someone point to the right download link? The download link on this page gives a 404 error. If I download the source10.zip, it does not have the SWM.exe file but has SWM.snl file. the beta file AC_SWMv1.1_10_30_BETA installs but gives an error. Using Windows 7 and Motorola Atrix

Source Code

To the owner of this project what do you think about putting the code on google or github or bitbucket. That way you could publish the executable there and have easy access to changing the source.

LOL, I just looked at the source and now understand why it doesn't need to be in source control.

I got this app to work to work on an XP machine, No Problems. Much Love! But the Vista Machine throws an error. "Unhandled Exception" "could not find part of the path C:\AC_SWM\payload/to_install apk"

I do have it on the c drive so i'm not sure whaz up. Any help would be appriciated.

hey my friend, I had the same problem, what I found out was when you drag the whole AC_SWM folder over to C: drive the payload folder which suppose to be inside the AC_SWM folder didn't copy over for some reason, what I did was extract the whole AC_SWMv1.1_10_30_BETA.zip, then go in there and manually drag the payload folder over to C:\AC_SWM folder.
