[ACS][ROM] Leaf Rom - 0.2

Bear with me here as I don't have a mac, but I assume it's pretty easy. Make sure your phone is in recovery mode (u key during boot) and connected, open your terminal and cd into the directory where your leaf rom files are. Then just run ./Leaf-Rom.sh and follow the directions.

If your phone didn't have usb debugging enabled before you wiped it, you may not be able to recover for awhile.

Did wat u said but now my phones stuck on the samsung screen?

Run the script again - I had the same issue, and rerunning fixed it. Also, if that does not fix it, it would be useful if you could provide the output of the script here so we can provide further assistance.

I'm a complete noob. How do you even get this on your phone?

Not to sound rude or anything, but, for everyone asking questions (since so many have been the same), please start reading posts to see if your question has already been answered. You can search the whole thread to even save time.

install is just the same as root :) download, extract, run the batch file (windows) or sh file (linux/mac) if you get errors, reboot the phone and run it as the phone boots up

And if you don't want to run the batch file, you can run ShabbyLeaf if you are a Windows user.

Are you absolutely sure you haven't moved/deleted any files? Try downloading and extracting it again, and then run it from the new location.

Please provide a full dump of that is printed while the script runs so we can trouble shot further.

Forget it im getting the optimus s today i had alot of other problems with tha replnish bad battery lots of frezzes not loading my pic albums right im sick of that phone

I find myself getting getting better battery life out of beta 0.1, I feel like 0.2 drains a lot quicker... anybody else feel the same way?

I seem to have a bit shorter life, but I figured it was just my extensive use from trying to write an app.

Actually, I find that with 0.2, I get much better batt life than 0.1. I am at 31% and last charged monday night I believe (it is friday PM now). I do turn the phone off at night, and us WIFI when possible at work during the day, so that obviously helps.

On days that I don't use my phone constantly for development or checking this thread while I'm out, I have battery life like dmrlook. Once I hit around the 50% mark it feels like it goes slower, too.

So now I figured out how to change some user app to system apps..I used titanium backup pro and you can change a lot there.I recommend it.
And I downloaded this paid app called agile lock.maybe in leafrom 0.3 we can change the lockscreen to sense 3 or with widgetlocker too.
And I change my music app to "uber music"..its a good combination.
But question is..when I reset will anything make it brick? Like when I changed go launcher to lancher pro I deleted go launcher and made launcher pro a system app..
Any ideas?

Unless you're flashing a new rom, there is no need to reset. If you mean reset as in flashing a new rom, you're just sending all the original files back over and then doing a factory reset.

I should have said factory reset.u know how like u flash a rom its better if u factory reset before reboot...

That's what I meant when I said there is no need to do a reset unless you're flashing a new rom. Why do you need to factory reset? No, I'm not sure if anything will screw up, but it's completely unnecessary to do it if you didn't send the rom again.

Just was curious and don't want to mess my replenish like last time.:)
So how's the app comin up?

Still waiting on road rash to clear up so my back and shoulders aren't so stiff. It hurts when you rip scabs that cover most of your shoulder every time you reach for something. :( I keep myself logged in all day and just occasionally get up to check the forums and my messages. I'm hoping it clears up by mid-week because it isn't too bad anymore, I'm just not getting much done with it.
