Active 2 watch screen unresponsive

[Android Central Question]

I had been working in the yard and I believe the watch got wet. I have a great cover on it always and keeps scuffs off it.
When I came inside the swipe feature was gone. Did a hard reset and now it's stuck on Let's Go with no way to go forward. Help?

did you delete the phone app and reinstall?
