Hi,
I have the S10 plus and my first real experience with Android Pie.
At the moment the Adaptive Power Saving keeps putting my phone into Medium power saving mode, which turns off a host of things including my Always On Display.

My battery is still around the 60% mark, any idea how to stop the changes with turning off the Adaptive Power Saving?

Thanks

Unfortunately there is no way to customize the adaptive option. In theory it should match your usage within a few days

How would it learn to be less aggressive? Is it because I'm using my phone a lot at the moment? Without an LED for notifications, I rely on the AOD to know when I have anything worth looking at.

I honestly wouldn't know. Maybe turning on AOD manually would do it? I turned that feature off because power-management always messes things up with other apps and notifications, so I just leave it alone. I let it put apps to sleep, but that's about it. If I need to do power saving for a loooooong day, I rather just turn it on/off manually.

You can tap on the medium power saving option and then set always on display to not turn off and that will work even while adaptive power saving is still on
