After update the Google App to my NEXUS 5 manually i am getting this message

After update the Google App 5.0.1.16.arm to my NEXUS 5 manually I am getting this message "unfortunately Google App has stopped". The problem is that I cant uninstall updates this Google App or can't again install the lower version . Even it dosen't support the higher version. Is their any solutions ????? plz ans ASAP.

Welcome to Android Central! I don't quite understand. You installed the Google App apk manually? Was it because it wasn't able to update via Google Play Store?
