Alert in Status Bar: ?Unable to connect to the Wi-Fi network?

Ever since upgrading to Gingerbread I?m getting an occasional alert in the notification bar on the top left saying ?Unable to connect to the Wi-Fi network.? The problem is that I?m getting this alert at what seems like inappropriate times, such as after I move from a wi-fi connection to my car. I also have noticed this message occasionally when I wake the phone while I?m connected to a network after the phone presumably has gone into standby or sleep mode (although it then automatically connects back to the wi-fi network). Has anyone else noticed this issue and if so have you been able to resolve it? It?s pretty annoying seeing and having to clear this alert so often when I?ve had the phone for months and never saw it once before. I guess it?s possible that it?s related to some utility or app I?ve recently installed but it does seem to coincide with the Gingerbread update. Thanks.
