All about Incredible batteries (Replacements, Charging..ect)

Wow, really? I am struggling to make it through the day right now on a charge. Double is definitely worth the $40-$50.

I went from 5-6 hours on the stock battery to 10-12 with the 1750 pretty easily. Without bump charging and all that garbage.

People have also had good luck with the 1500 oem HTC battery which its about 30 dollars cheaper.

The 1500 battery has had good results as well and is cheaper. Can't comment on the length of time it last but I imagine it would be better.

New guy here...hello all!

Which battery is preferred--the Amzer 1800 Mah Ion Slim or Seidio Innocell 1750?

Thank you.

I have the 2150 and its great but I use the hell out of this bad ass phone so I just ordered a 3500.

I just ordered my 2150 from Verizon.. if someone tells you its not available they're incorrect.

Yeah that's the same ole' story thats been going around for awhile. Do you need to call them to order it or is it somewhere else as well?

How much is the Amzer 1800mah? And where are you getting the Amzer
thanks...

I saw the Amzer on CheapDroids.com for $57.99.

I'd like to have a longer lasting battery than the stock battery without adding bulk and was wondering if the 1750 or 1899 mah is enough of an improvement to justify the purchase.
Anyone?

Have you read any of this thread......yes it's about double the life (1750). I've heard of nobody using the Amzer and there is a reason for that.

Yes...I actually read all 68 pages and then my head exploded! Sheesh!

NICE! Thanks a ton, I think that is exactly what I need for this two week vacation coming up here in a month or so!

Jeez makya53, If you don't stop upsizing pretty soon you're gonna need a handtruck to haul that thing around! LOL

Seidio vs. HTC?

Is there any reason besides price one might pick one brand over the other? I see Seidio get talked about a lot. Are they better? Do they have more options for extended life? I thought maybe it was simply the brand of choice for extended life and that you couldn't even get HTC batteries that lasted longer than the stock...but that doesn't seem to be true.

The 2150 from Verizon is an HTC OEM battery. The 1500 TP2 battery is also OEM from HTC. The 1750 and 3500 are from Seidio. I normally go with the brands I have seen people use and talk about. I haven't heard of anyone using AMZER batteries. But if they want to send me one I will try it out and spread the word if it's worth a crap......oh yeah they don't have anyone in this forum like Seidio.

I've done an experiment, which may shed some light for some folks, in terms of battery life on the Inc...

Got my phone last week. First couple days were work/week days, and I couldn't even make it to the commute home without recharging. I did a number of the suggested things I found here - turned off bluetooth (don't use it), turned off GPS (use occasionally, just added a shortcut to the home screen to toggle it), turned off the GTalk service (don't even know what it is), and did some "bump" charges on the phone.

Saturday comes, I've got the phone on for just as long, and I think I even used it slightly more... but I end up making it to late that night on no extra charging, with room to spare. Sunday goes just as well. I figured the fixes from above must have worked.

Today being Monday, its 12:30, and I am down to 25% on the battery already. That's only a little better than where I was last week. When I look at the battery usage chart, my two largest culprits are: Cell Standby (37%), and Phone Idle (28%). On the weekend, the biggest culprit was Android System.

So, I am fairly certain that the major problem here is that my office has a lot of spots where cell service is weak or non-existent, that I spend much of the day in. Just something to keep in mind, that might be an issue for some folks.

I am hoping that HTC will do some OS updates to better cope with network waiting.
