For those waiting for the OEM (and red) 2150mAh extended battery from Verizon..it might be a month or so before they have it.

2150mAh.. I wonder if that will squeeze into the phone without a new back cover. The Seidio website suggests a 3500mAh extended battery, and a slim 1750mAh.

Verizon Extended Battery!!!

I was at my local verizon store today, i got a case for Incredible, and I asked when they will have extended battery...I was told hopefully Next Monday 5-10-10, but he told me to call to make sure they get them, and yes it will include new back plate (i wounder if my case would fit on it if i get new back which will be little thicker)

Has anyone ever used those external juice packs? Some are like 3500mah and you just plug your phone into them and charge. Idk if its practical or better than a 1750mah battery.

So question: I want to order this Seidio battery from Amazon but it's saying:

Usually ships within 2 to 3 weeks.
Ships from and sold by Amazon.com.

Does it always say that or are these guys running low on inventory? I want to sign up for Prime and get it next day. I don't want to order it and then find out I won't get it for 3 weeks though...

I don't think lithium batteries need conditioning.

Leaving your location on really drains your battery life, also make sure to download the advanced task killer and kill the tasks your not using. That helped ALOT

More than a few people have expressed that the task killer causes more problems than it solves.

Hmm, I asked the guy at my local vzw store about the extended battery as well. I asked if the case I just bought would allow the extended battery to fit and he said "Yes, it's the same size as the original battery". Wonder who is right?

I unplugged my phone from being fully charged and in 20 minutes of being in my pocket - I didn't unlock it, didn't get a phone call, didn't do anything and I lost 5% charge. I've done the task-killer, and pretty much everything else suggested on the Forums... I'm starting to lose my patience.

The OEM battery sucks. There is nothing you can really do to make it better.

I think these changes in battery level, according to a battery meter, are just the meter reading settling in after running for a few minutes and getting a good average. It's not really the battery dropping x percent without even hardly being used.

So those that have ordered and used the 1750 Seidio battery. Is it better? Would you recomend it? Have you noticed improved battery life?
