Try restarting Nova and see if that helps. So far no issues going home here on Nova.

Only way to get rid of bubbles is to drag go bottom to delete. I got tired of that so I turned off bubbles.

When I get a new message I can bring up bubbles by clicking the pop out icon at the bottom right of the message in the notification.

After that the bubble stays on the screen but first time you have to pop out the bubble. You can dismiss the bubble once you are done and do the same next time.

Yeah, I'm absolutely digging the bubbles! Very fun and interactive and very useful to me!

I tried all the suggested tricks but it still keeps reverting to the stock launcher.

One thing I've been noticing is that smart unlock is not working properly. I constantly have to unlock my phone at home even though it's set for keeping unlocked at my location.

For beta 2, a couple of the bugs that I've noticed are this colon chap bubbles for messenger still little buggy of course, but that's to be expected they work better though. For all the active running current conversations you actually have they work pretty well. I submitted bug report for Android Auto which I'll show you the screenshots below. In beta two, the split screen mode is much more reliable. Music widget works much better. Even for my pixel buds... It's a weird quirk, but on the lock screen versus unlocking my phone on home screen, if I flip my case open on a lock screen my Google play services highlights the battery life of them more often than before.

Tried it today as my main phone, finding it really buggy actually. Not just the launcher switch issue but also seeing regular freezes where the screen freezes in an app .

I think I might try and go back to 10.

Nope, not that I can see. Beta 2 is running perfectly fine on my pixel 3 XL! Bubbles for messages is really cool. Needs a little more works but it's a really cool feature!

Same here. I like the chat bubbles. They are convenient when working on something else and not having to go back and forth between apps.

Well, of course there are other OS enhancements much better notification organization in the notification shade. I swear my battery on beta 2 is much better. Android Auto still has one hiccup from me but it's much smoother for audio now. The enhancements are in the overview multitasking screen. Of course privacy, standby battery time, but yeah, the chat bubbles are freaking awesome! Very handy convenient, fun, and interactive to use! I'm glad that Google also finally fixed the picture in picture mode instability.

I mean even with beta 1 I could tell that my battery life was better on my Pixel 3 XL. with beta 2 it seems that even a smidge more so.

Well no idea, but I doubt we are going to get any more dessert treats after Android 10 instead of a dessert treat on that one either.
