When is the expected fina/public release date for Android 11? Any rumors of what it's going to be called? or no more cute dessert names?

They still use R for the software release number, like they did with Q. But it will officially be Android 11 when it is released to the public.

September 8th is the rumored date for public release. I think they are done with calling names for Android releases from Android 10 onwards. Anyway I never cared about the names

I do have this issue on my Pixel 4 XL with Android 11 beta 2 (Display flickering). According to Android VP David Burke they are aware of this issue and told the fix is on the way in couple of weeks. I have turned off smooth display for now until this is fixed and yes I didn't die switching back to 60 Hz from 90 Hz (never bothers me)
