Anyone else screen flickering while using dark mode?
One thing I've been noticing is that smart unlock is not working properly. I constantly have to unlock my phone at home even though it's set for keeping unlocked at my location.
The whole time I had this phone since launch it worked correctly for me. Not until the beta did it stop working correctly. Just a bug to me, not a deal breaker to stop using the beta.As far as I am concerned, Smart Lock - Trusted Places has *never* worked properly and will often leave your phone unlocked when you least expect it.

Yes, I only have smart unlock set for two things, when connected to my car and when I'm at home. For the entirety of being home during quarantine, I did not have to use my fingerprint sensor to unlock my phone until beta at home on my couch. But, do you know for certain that it "worked correctly" - as in, your phone was locked in all places where it should have been? With the Pixel 2 and 3, I used the fingerprint sensor to unlock my phone and always did so as I lifted the phone or took it from my pocket (I really miss the FPS on my Pixel 4 XL btw...), so as a rule I never really tested to see if my phone was actually locking when it was supposed to. As I found in the post I linked above, it turned out that the phone was often left unlocked even when I was thousands of miles from my home "trusted location".
I just received an email from feedback on Google. I reported the issue and it has been assigned. So perhaps it will be fixed by the next betaYes! While laying in bed at night!
I thought it was my imagination; nice to know that someone else sees it also.

This is going to be embarrassing, but how do you make a bug report? I tried and all I could find was chat help and they only sent me a link which ended up giving me a 404 error.Yeah I made a bug report on lower screen brightness the screen flickers
There a feedback app that came with beta buildThis is going to be embarrassing, but how do you make a bug report? I tried and all I could find was chat help and they only sent me a link which ended up giving me a 404 error.
I don't see anything new in my app drawerThere a feedback app that came with beta build
I posted few posts ago, have the same issue and Google has acknowledged it and supposedly fix coming within couple of weeks. Workaround is to turn off smooth display (90Hz) if you want. I can't make out difference between 60 and 90 anyway so turned it off for now. I'll turn it back on once bug is fixed.Yes! While laying in bed at night!
